Techfinance is a finance firm in Toronto, Ontario. This notice explains, in plain words, what we collect on techfinance.io, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email, company, phone number if you give it, and your message. If you choose to, the form also sends your refund estimate, your eligibility answers and your fiscal year-end from the tools on our home page.
- Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, buttons clicked, the type of device and a rough location. If you decline, Google Analytics sets no cookies, though it may still receive basic signals without cookies.
- Nothing from the calculators unless you send it. The refund estimator, eligibility check and deadline finder run in your browser. We only see their results if you send them with the form.
How we use it
- To reply to you and book your free check.
- To deliver our services if you become a client, and to keep the records that professional and tax rules require.
- To understand which parts of the site help visitors, so we can improve it.
We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't add you to mailing lists.
Who handles it for us
Our website host, Netlify, receives the form and passes it to our email, which runs on Google Workspace. Google provides our analytics. These providers may store information outside Canada, under their own security and privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to reply and follow up. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as professional and tax rules require.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Email hello@techfinance.io.
- You can change your cookie choice at any time. The button below clears it, and the home page will ask you again.
